This client came to us with an existing site that was loaded with content. They also came with their own designs, which required our input to simplify the content and nail the purpose of the site.
Our approach to Tuff Stuff
The content needed to be plain and simple, so that a typical person on a job site could get new parts quickly. We ensured that on the mobile site, the phone number is fixed and blatantly obvious – if a tradesperson doesn’t have time to browse, they’ll want somebody who can help them get what they need. The category of product also takes centre stage, both on mobile and desktop. People will tend to know what they’ve broken, and want to know what replacement options are available – so this functionality is easy to navigate.
